Hello peeps!
I am mum of 5.5 months old baby Tootsicle. I love good food, am a bit of a liberal middle class eco-aware mum. Tootsicle loves cuddles, milk, playing peekaboo and has strong views on electoral reform. Together we are moving from her milk, milk and a side order of milk diet to having fun with food, and we are both loving it! We are letting Tootsicle feed herself, which is what is popularly termed baby-led weaning. We thought we's stick it on a blog, just for fun really.
Today, started with a breakfast of breastmilk followed by both of us having weetabix (well, cheap tescos equivalent), a first for tootsicle. She seemed to love it, moaning for me to load her spoon as soon as she's emptied it. I'm not sure how much went down her, there was a fair bit of spreading it round her face, bib and high chair tray, but she's very accurate with self-feeding with a loaded spoon.
